The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about Nigerian weather condition for today, Monday October 24, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: Sunny and hazy conditions will prevail over the extreme northern region both in the morning and afternoon hours. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 33 – 38°C.

CENTRAL STATES: Partly cloudy conditions are anticipated over the entire region during the morning hours. Partly cloudy conditions are anticipated over the northern part of the central states while prospects of isolated thunderstorms are likely over the high ground areas of the central states including Southern Abuja, Minna, Bida, Lokoja and Lafia axis in the afternoon/evening hours. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 28 – 33°C.

SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected over the entire inland and the southwest coast while isolated cases of rains are expected over the southeast coast during the morning hours. Localised thunderstorms are not unlikely over the inland and the coast during afternoon/evening hours. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 32 – 33°C.
