7th Edition of the National Under-17 Cricket Championship starts today, Thursday, February 26, 2026. It involves four teams who are expected to arrive Abuja today for the North Central Zonal Elimination involving Male and Female under-17 cricketers.
Speaking to our Sports Correspondent today, Mr. Oludare Aimola, North Central Zonal Representative on the Nigeria Cricket Federation (NCF) Board, said the North Central states of Kogi, Kwara, Niger and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), are featuring in the championship scheduled to hold from February 26 to March 1 at the Twin Ovals of the Nigeria Cricket Federation, Package “B”, Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.
14 players and 2 coaches will represent each of the 3 North Central states and the FCT.
