Global Opportunities Network &Empowerment (G-ONE), a Lagos-based Nigerian organisation actively involved in human capacity development and strategic empowerment, has concluded plans to partner corporate organisations, local and international financiers, professional trainers and other stake holders in a project to motivate human capacity development in African countries.
According to a statement jointly signed by Co-Managing Partners of G-ONE, Oluwalana Oluwarotimi and Michael Adeniyi, the group recently launched the Africa Impact Award, a lifelong project aimed at raising well-meaning Africans who desire to impact people in the communities, states or country of residence.
“These sponsors would fund subsidised training projects that covers core areas like: agriculture, ICT, entrepreneurship, handcraft and professional career courses, with the aim of increasing the human capacity of the nations to engender productivity, social and economic development that would transcend the African communities,” the duo said in a statement issued in Lagos.
Messrs Oluwarotimi & Adeniyi noted that the overall goal of the project is to motivate those with the capacity to help and ensure that funds released are transparently used for the sole purpose of empowering Africans willing to improve but lack the financial capacity to do so.
The statement added that G-ONE is partnering with corporate organisations, local and international financiers, professional trainers and other stakeholders to make this project a positive change driving tool. “All sponsors would be awarded based on the number of persons whose life was impacted with the funds contributed,” said the Partners, adding:
“Trained persons stand a chance to be funded for enterprise purposes on the G-ONE Network scheme. Trainings would be made available in different communities, states and countries based on the availability of supporting sponsors in the location.”
