The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about Nigerian weather condition for today, Friday October 14, 2016:
NORTHERN STATES: Cloudy to partly cloudy conditions are expected over the entire region in the morning, later in the day chances of localised thunderstorms are likely over the Potiskum, Bauchi, Gombe and Dutse. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 34 – 37°C.
CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy conditions are anticipated in the morning hours. Localised thunderstorms are not unlikely over the high grounds of the central cities including Abuja, Lafia, Bida, Kaduna and Jos in the afternoon/evening hours. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 30 – 33°C.
SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected over the inland cities of the south in the morning. There are prospects of isolated thunderstorms over Ibadan, Awka, Akure and Enugu with chances of localised rains especially over places like Lagos, Port Harcourt, Calabar, Warri, Eket and Benin in the afternoon/evening hours. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 28 – 33°C.
