Twin brothers in Texas, United States, have been charged with murder over the revenge killing of a man who allegedly forced them to strip naked at gunpoint during a robbery, police said.
Samuel Gbadebo and Solomon Gbadebo, both 20, were arrested last week in connection with two separate killings in November, including the death of Isaiah Gonzales, whom investigators believe targeted the brothers years after the alleged robbery incident, FOX 4 reported.
Police said the first killing occurred on November 15, 2025, at an apartment complex in north Fort Worth.
Authorities said a white Nissan Altima was captured on security footage entering the complex’s parking lot around 1:30 a.m., shortly before Devan Randles, 19, was seen with three other men believed to be breaking into cars.
A shooting later unfolded, and Randles was found with gunshot wounds and pronounced dead. Investigators did not disclose what led to the shooting.
The Nissan Altima was later seen fleeing the scene, but no suspects were identified at the time.
Later in the month, a second killing occurred in the early hours of November 30 in the parking lot of Flips Patio Grill.
Isaiah Gonzales, 20, an employee of the restaurant, was seen leaving with his girlfriend around 2 a.m. when two men ran up to his car and fired through the windshield, critically wounding him.
Gonzales later died in hospital, according to the report.
Investigators initially found shoe prints matching Nike Air Force 1s at the scene but were unable to identify any suspects.
Police later linked the twins to both killings after determining that the Nissan Altima used in the first murder was connected to the second and traced the vehicle to the brothers’ mother.
Authorities also said the twins were later seen wearing clothes and shoes that matched evidence recovered from the crime scenes.
A search of the brothers’ apartment on December 12 did not yield any items, and investigators said there was not enough evidence at the time to charge them.
On the same day, Samuel Gbadebo was arrested after a police chase but later released on bond due to insufficient evidence.
Investigators said a breakthrough came after a tip linked the brothers to Gonzales, the second victim.
A tipster told police that Gonzales had robbed the twins in 2021 and forced them to strip naked at gunpoint in front of a camera, the search warrant affidavit said.
The tipster also said they had heard the twins were responsible for Gonzales’ death.
While searching Gonzales’ belongings, investigators later found a video showing two young Black men being held at gunpoint while naked.
Authorities said facial recognition technology identified the two men in the footage as the Gbadebo twins.
Police confirmed that the brothers had reported being robbed in 2021, but FOX 4 said it could not find any record showing Gonzales was ever arrested for the alleged robbery.
Authorities said their investigation eventually led to the arrest of both brothers last week. (The Independent)
