UFC Heavyweight Mohammed Usman
Kamaru Usman’s younger brother, Mohammed, receives 30-month UFC suspension after admitting testosterone and peptide use, compounded by misleading anti-doping investigators.
UFC heavyweight Mohammed Usman has been issued a 30-month suspension after testing positive for banned substances, the Combat Sports Anti-Doping agency announced Thursday.
Usman, the younger brother of former UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman, tested positive for testosterone during an out-of-competition drug test conducted in September. The failed test led to his removal from a scheduled fight against Valter Walker.
According to CSAD, the 36-year-old later admitted to intentionally using testosterone and the prohibited peptide BPC-157. However, the agency stated that Usman initially provided false explanations during the investigation. As a result, CSAD added six months to the standard two-year suspension for testosterone use, extending the ban to 30 months.
The suspension Is retroactive to Oct. 9, 2025, and will expire on April 9, 2028. Usman, who trains in Florida, is a former “The Ultimate Fighter” contestant and holds a 4-3 UFC record. (AriseNews TV)
