Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church
The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has warned President Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) of looming internal crises ahead of the 2027 general elections, predicting betrayal by some state governors.
Ayodele made the assertion while releasing his prophecies for 2026, in which he spoke on Nigeria’s political future, security, and economic direction.
According to the cleric, the APC must be vigilant to avoid internal implosion, as divisions within the party could weaken its electoral fortunes.
“The spirit of God says the APC must be watchful because of internal crisis. They must try to mediate in order to settle their internal wrangling,” Ayodele said.
He warned that certain individuals within the ruling party would deliberately stir trouble, leading to legal battles and deepening factional disputes.
“Some elements will rise within the party to cause problems for the APC. The party will contend with legal battles,” he added.
The prophet further predicted divisions among APC governors, cautioning that some may secretly work against the party’s interests ahead of the 2027 polls.
“I foresee divisions among the APC governors, and if care is not taken, some APC governors will not work with the APC but will clandestinely work for the African Democratic Congress (ADC),” he said.
Ayodele urged the ruling party to prioritise internal reconciliation and unity to avert defections and electoral setbacks as preparations for the next general elections intensify. (Nigerian Tribune)
