The Association of Anambra Artists (AAA) on Sunday shutdown the city of Onitsha with scintillating performances by upcoming artists in the state.

The association made up of musicians still fanning their dream of becoming huge stars like Flavour, Davido, Phyno, etc, held the residents of G.R.A spell bound with songs ranging from afro Naija flavour, afro pop, reggae mix, rap, etc.

Artists that performed at the show tagged "Gbedu Night” include Chaka Dee, the 'Nigeria Buzi KonKon' singer, Sleek P, Joker Study, Bigbyte, Chy Baby.

Others were Lazgidi, Baggy cent, Dawiz, Mizta Target, Maintain Dee among others

The Celebrity Prophet was also at the event to lace the show with his "Dorime Twist".

Speaking with News Express at the event, the Konkon crooner, Chaka Dee who recently featured Charly Boy in his Konkon song said that he had been in the music industry for many years, struggling to break through.

According to him, the Nigeria Buzi Konkon brought the breaker he has been praying for with the feature of famous Nigeria musician, Charly Boy.

He said: "I've been in the street hustling with my music. It’s not easy to break even in the music industry, but, all it requires is consistency, patience, humility. Don't give up, even when it seems tough or doors are shut against you. You have to put in your sweat to be able to scratch the lid open."

Chaka Dee advised Upcoming Artists not to relent, but continue pushing, saying that Rome was not built in a day.
