The immediate family of late Bayelsa State Deputy Governor, Senator Lawrence Ewrhudjakpor, on Sunday informed the public that, effective tomorrow, Monday, December 15, 2025, all mourning activities and condolence visits to the family will henceforth take place at his country home in Ofoni.

“Associates, friends and members of the public should take note of this,” the family said in a statement signed by Mr. Francis Ewrhudjakpor.

According to the statement, “Following the sudden demise of the Late Deputy Governor, the family had since made arrangements for an autopsy to be conducted. The outcome of the autopsy will be communicated to the immediate family, after which the government and the general public will be duly informed as appropriate.

“The Ewrhudjakpor family expresses profound gratitude to all well-wishers for the overwhelming show of sympathy, solidarity, and condolences received so far.

“We humbly request continued prayers for the peaceful repose of his soul and for the strength and fortitude of the family to bear this irreparable loss.”
