Victor Osimhen has reaffirmed the necessity for the Super Eagles to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The Super Eagles were unable to qualify for the last edition of the global soccer fiesta hosted by Qatar.
Eric Chelle’s team is trying to advance to next year’s championships via the playoffs after failing to clinch automatic qualification.
The West Africans trounced Gabon 4-1 in the playoff semifinals on Thursday.
They will meet the Democratic Republic of the Congo in the Rabat final on Sunday.
Osimhen insists on having the necessary quality to complete the work.
“We can get it done,” Osimhen told ESPN.
“We have the squad to actualize this dream of going to the World Cup because everyone wants to go to the World Cup.” (This Day)
