A communication expert, Mr. Chris Nkwocha, popularly known as Phonovator, has unveiled “The Death of Logophobia”, a book aimed at combating the fear of mispronouncing words — a global problem that challenges non-native English speakers.
Logophobia, argued the author, is "a silent epidemic that holds back millions from expressing their ideas, sharing their expertise, and stepping into leadership."
Foreworded by Corinne Wilhelm, host of “Experts Speak English”, the book is described as interactive and engaging that "your tongue and mouth will rise to the challenge before you even reach the exercises."
Among other things, the book examines 11 pronunciation syndromes with targeted exercises and phonetic insights. It uses interactive games and flashcards to reinforce learning, and preaches that confidence matters more than perfection.
“The Death of Logophobia” can be obtained via email: chrisinkwocha@gmail.com or phone: +2349051111178, and is designed to help learners, teachers, therapists, professionals, and language lovers overcome the fear of mispronunciation and unlock the confidence to speak clearly, boldly, and authentically.
