The All Progressives Congress (APC) has disowned a timetable for its 2025 nationwide congresses currently circulating on social media, describing it as fake and unauthorised.
In a statement by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the APC said it had no hand in the purported “APC 2025 Schedule of Nationwide Congresses and Related Activities.”
According to the statement, the timetable did not originate from the party and should be disregarded by members and the general public.
“Our great party wishes to clarify that the purported Schedule of Activities for Congresses was neither made nor authorised by the Party and should be disregarded as fake news,” the statement read.
The APC urged its members and supporters to rely solely on official communications from the party’s National Secretariat for authentic information regarding party activities. (The Nation)
