The MainPower Electricity Distribution Limited (MEDL) says the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has cancelled the planned maintenance of its 33Kva Feeder line in Enugu State.
This is contained in a statement issued by Head, Communications of MainPower, Mr Emeka Ezeh, in Enugu on Thursday.
It would be recalled that the TCN had announced through MainPower DisCo that there would be power outage in some parts of the state during the maintenance scheduled from Oct. 22 to Oct. 31, between 9a.m. and 5p.m. daily.
Ezeh noted that the cancellation of the exercise as communicated by the TCN was due to unforeseen technical constraints.
“The 33KV feeders earlier scheduled for the outage on rotational basis are: Kingsway Line 1 and Line 2; Emene Industrial Line 1 and Line 2; Thinkers Corner Line; Trans-Ekulu Line; Ugwuogo Line and Ituku Ozalla Line.
“The new schedule for the planned maintenance will be communicated to our customers once that is confirmed.
“We sincerely regret any inconvenience caused by this change and appreciate your patience and understanding,” he said. (NAN)
