Balmoral Group Promotions, AK Promotions, and Frank Warren’s Queensberry Promotions have announced ‘Chaos In The Ring II’, a historic Heavyweight Triple Header scheduled for Friday, December 19, 2025, at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos, Nigeria.

The blockbuster event, to be broadcast live worldwide on DAZN, will showcase Nigerian boxing talent on a global stage and feature Lawrence Okolie and David Adeleye in their first professional fights on African soil, marking a defining moment for African boxing.

The announcement follows the resounding success of ‘Chaos In The Ring I’, which captivated fans in Lagos and brought international attention to Nigeria’s thriving boxing scene.

Okolie’s African Debut

Two-weight world champion and WBC No.1 heavyweight contender Lawrence Okolie (22-1, 16 Kos) will headline the Lagos event, marking his first-ever professional fight in Africa.

Born in London to Nigerian parents, the 33-year-old captured the WBO cruiserweight title in 2021 with a knockout victory over Krzysztof Glowacki, defended it successfully, and later won the WBC bridgerweight world title. Now stepping up to heavyweight, Okolie aims to make history as a three-weight world champion in 2026.

Okolie said: “Big-time boxing comes to Lagos! This will be a historic moment for Africa, my family, and my career. There’s been a lot of talk, but let’s see who really wants to dance. Detty December just got saucy. Thanks to Frank, George, and Qb for making this happen.”

Adeleye’s Homecoming

In the co-main event, heavyweight contender David Adeleye (14-2, 13 Kos) will also make his first professional appearance in Africa, bringing his trademark power and intensity to Lagos.

The 28-year-old, born in London to Nigerian parents, turned professional in 2019 and quickly rose through the ranks, with 13 of his 14 wins coming by knockout. Adeleye looks to bounce back from a strong performance against Filip Hrgovic (19-1, 14 Kos) and deliver a statement win in front of his ancestral home crowd.

Adeleye said: “Nigeria — m coming home. It’s an honour to fight in my parents’ land, a country that has birthed many greats. The first event was spectacular, but this time, we’re doubling up and bringing even more fire. I can’t wait for you guys to see me live in action.”

Ok diase and All-Nigerian Clash Add Firepower

Unbeaten prospect Emanuel Odiase (9-0, 8 Kos) will also return to the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, where he previously scored a devastating first-round KO, aiming to cement his reputation as one of the most exciting heavyweights in the region.

In a high-stakes all-Nigerian showdown, Taiwo Agbaje (18-0, 13 Kos) will take on Musa Tope Tajudeen (19-1, 17 Kos) in a fight expected to steal the show. Both men are chasing global recognition, with Agbaje eyeing a potential title shot against Britain’s Nick Ball (23-0-1, 13 Kos).
