The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has announced that the online recruitment test for shortlisted applicants in the Superintendent Cadre will take place on Thursday, 2nd October, 2025.

According to an official update from the Service, all shortlisted candidates have been divided into three batches (A, B, and C).

NCS, in a statement on Monday, said candidates are required to log in with their National Identification Number (NIN) at https://updates.customs.gov.ng to check their assigned batch, date, and time.

The Customs Service noted that strict adherence to the assigned schedule is mandatory, warning that failure to comply may result in disqualification from the recruitment process.

The Service also issued clear guidelines regarding conduct during the test.

Use of calculators and other electronic devices is strictly prohibited, and candidates were cautioned against indiscriminate login attempts or switching browser windows, as such actions may block further access to the test platform.

Applicants in the Inspectorate and Assistant Cadres have been advised not to log in at this stage.

According to the statement, they will be contacted separately with information regarding their own pre-test and online test schedules.

“Candidates are strictly warned against the use of calculators and other devices during the test. Indiscriminate log-in or switching of browser windows may also prevent further sign-in attempts.

“Applicants of the Inspectorate and Assistant Cadres will be contacted later for their Pre-Test and Online Test. Inspectorate & Assistant Cadre applicants should NOT log in at this stage.” (The Guardian)
