Army urges Abia youths to enlist

The 14 Brigade Nigerian Army, Ohafia, has called on youths in Abia State to take advantage of the ongoing recruitment exercise for the 90 Regular Recruit Intake.

In a statement on Thursday, the Acting Assistant Director, Army Public Relations, 14 Brigade, Lt. Anna Tsaku, said the online application portal opened on September 19 and remains accessible via www.recruitment.army.mil.ng.

She described the exercise as a unique opportunity for young Nigerians to serve their country with “pride, courage and honour,” noting that successful candidates would undergo comprehensive military training and have access to diverse career opportunities.

“The Nigerian Army is committed to attracting disciplined and dedicated youths who are ready to defend the territorial integrity of Nigeria and contribute to national security,” the statement read.

The Army further emphasised that the recruitment process is free of charge, cautioning applicants against fraudsters and unscrupulous individuals attempting to exploit them. (PUNCH)
