BREAKING NEWS: #BringBackOurGirls protesters block entrance to Aso Presidential Villa

The Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG) group has blocked the entrance of the Aso Presidential Villa in Abuja, a report from the Nigerian capital said.

The report, by the online edition of Independent newspaper, said that the campaigners are led by one-time education minister, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili.

A photo of the activists show them seated on the road, with their mouths taped shut.

The women are seen ‘brickwalled’ by police officers on duty.

News Express reports that the BBOG group has made repeated attempts to march to the Presidential Villa but was always turned back by security operatives.

The group has accused President Muhammadu Buhari of not working hard enough to free the over 200 school girls from Chibok community in Borno State kidnapped in April 2014 by Boko Haram terrorists after using his promise to swiftly release the girls as one of his gimmicks to win the march 28, 2015 presidential ballot.
