Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about Nigerian weather condition for today, Sunday, August 28, 2016:
NORTHERN STATES: Thunderstorms are expected to prevail over Sokoto and Yelwa axis in the morning. In afternoon/evening hours, there are chances of thunderstorms over the entire northern cities. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 27 - 32o C.
CENTRAL STATES: Cloudiness is expected with chances of morning rains over Abuja, Jos, Bauchi, Gombe, Lafia, Lokoja, Makurdi and Mambila Plateau. There are prospects of isolated thunderstorms over the high grounds of the central cities in the afternoon/evening hours. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 24 - 31oC.
SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy condition is expected over the entire inland cities with chances of localised rains over the coastal cities in the morning. There are chances of rainfall activities over the entire southern cities in the afternoon/evening hours. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 28 - 30oC
