The Air Component of Operation Hadin Kai has neutralized more than 20 terrorists and destroyed a meeting point in Bula Madibale, Gezuwa general area of Sambisa forest, in Bama LGA of Borno State.

Sources told Zagazola Makama that the air interdiction was conducted on September 15th following credible intelligence received from the Watchkeeper platform.

He explained that the intelligence revealed that terrorists had gathered at Bula Madibale, prompting the deployment of a force package to the location at about 2:25 p.m.

“Overhead the area, the crew observed multiple network footpaths leading to suspected terrorists’ enclaves, with a flag hoisted near a meeting point under a tree.

“The aircraft acquired and engaged the target. The strike neutralized over 20 terrorists while others were seen fleeing the location,” he said.

He added that the meeting point and the flag symbolizing the terrorists’ presence were destroyed during the operation. (Zagazola)
