Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about Nigerian weather condition for today, Thursday, August 18, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected with chances of localised thunderstorms over Kano, Katsina and Gusau during the morning hours. Day time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 31 - 32oC.

CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected with likelihood of localised rains over Mambila Plateau, Jalingo, Lokoja and Makurdi during the morning hours. There are prospects of localised thunderstorms/rains over Abuja, Minna, Bida and Ilorin during the afternoon/evening hours. Day time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 29 - 30oC.

SOUTHERN STATES: Calabar, Ogoja, Enugu, Awka, Port Harcourt and Eket have chances of rains during the morning hours. There are prospects of localised thunderstorms over Akure, Oshogbo and Iseyin during the afternoon/evening period. Day time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 28-29oC.
