Police raid criminal hideouts, arrest 10 suspects in Benue

The Police Command in Benue State has arrested 10 suspects and recovered arms during raids on criminal hideouts and black spots in Orokam, in Ogbadigbo Local Government Area of the State.

Sources said that the raid was conducted on Aug. 16 by the Orokam Divisional Police Officer (DPO).

The sources said during screening, a locally fabricated pistol with one live cartridge was recovered from the suspects.

Those arrested included Mohammed Hassan, 18; ThankGod Apah, 20; James Noah, 18; Victor Michael, 23; Umar Abdullahi, 24; and Abdullahi Garba, 31, all residents of Ade-Igwa Trailer Park, Orokam.

The sources added that investigations by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) were ongoing. (Zagazola)
