A gang clash has left one person dead in Tudun Wada area of Gusau Local Government Area, Zamfara State, police have confirmed.

Sources told Zagazola Makama that the incident occurred at about 4:50 p.m. when five members of the “Yan Sare-Sare” group from Awala attacked a rival gang member in a show of supremacy.

The victim, Identified as Yusuf Naruwa, alias Dan’baushi, 30, from Unguwar Shado area of Gusau, was reportedly macheted to death by the assailants.

Sources said the scene was visited, the body was photographed, and later evacuated to the Ahmed Sani Yariman Bakura Specialist Hospital for autopsy.

Investigation is underway to apprehend the fleeing suspects. (Zagazola)
