Babylon the great is the world empire of false religion.
False religions began in the ancient city of Babylon.
When Jehovah confused their language they scattered worldwide.
They took the false worship to all places they went.
That is why you find false worship all over the world.
In Revelation 18:2, 4, Jehovah God commands all sincere people in all false religions to ?come out of her? ? that is out of Babylon the great.
But why that command? It is so that one may not be destroyed when all false religions are destroyed worldwide.
When Jesus was on earth some 2,000 years ago, he told the Pharisees and the Sadducees that their worship was in vain. (Matthew 15:8, 9). Since we do not want our worship to be in vain, that is why we must come out of FALSE religions.
When Jesus saw that those who were worshipping in the temple of Jerusalem were not faithful, he ABANDONED the temple. His disciples followed him. (Matthew 23:37-24:2)
Just like Jesus warned, there are many false religious leaders in the world today. (Matthew 24:5, 11, 24).
We do well to come out of false religions so that we can gain everlasting life.
