A man identified as Idi Buba has allegedly stabbed his biological father, Buba Jelli, to death in Fotta District, Gombi Local Government Area of Adamawa State.

Zagazola Makama gathered that the tragic incident occurred on Monday, July 28, following a yet-to-be-determined altercation between the two in their family compound.

Sources in the community said Idi attacked his father with a knife, inflicting deep wounds on his neck and back. The victim was rushed to the Primary Health Care Centre in Fotta, where he was confirmed dead while receiving treatment.

Security sources said a knife suspected to have been used in the attack was recovered at the scene by security personnel.

The remains of the deceased have been deposited at the health facility for autopsy, while further inquiries into the motive behind the killing are ongoing. (Zagazola, excluding headline)
