LASU opens admission for 2025/2026 JUPEB programme




The Lagos State University (LASU) has announced the opening of admissions for its School of Basic and Advanced Studies (JUPEB Programme) for the 2025/2026 academic session, with classes set to begin in September 2025.

LASU management made the announcement in a statement on Thursday.

The programme will begin in September 2025 and end in August 2026. It is a one-year intensive course that helps students gain direct admission into 200 level at LASU and other universities that accept JUPEB results.

It also disclosed that the programme will take place at LASU’s Topo-Badagry campus on ASCON Road in Badagry, Lagos.

To apply, students must have at least five O’ Level credit passes, including English Language.

For candidates who intend to study courses in Medicine/ Dentistry/ Nursing/ Pharmacology, Agricultural Science, Science, Education, Social Sciences, Management Sciences and Engineering, a credit pass in Mathematics is compulsory.

Students who meet the admission requirements will be invited for a written qualifying examination. Students invited for the qualifying examination should come along with the following items: National Identification Number (NIN) Slip, Birth Certificate, O’ Level Result (Awaiting Result is not accepted), and One Passport Photograph.

Applicants must ensure that their names are arranged identically across all submitted documents, including NIN, birth certificate, and O’ Level Result credentials.

Successful candidates will be required to pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of N30,000.
