Vice-President Kashim Shettima, on Monday arrived in London on the directive of President Bola Tinubu, following the death of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Shettima was accompanied by the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila.
On arrival, the vice-president was received by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amb. Yusuf Tuggar, and the Gov. Babagana Zulum of Borno.
Shettima will accompany the remains of Buhari to Nigeria for burial in Daura, Katsina State.
The former leader died in London on Sunday after a prolonged illness. (NAN)
