CP Orutugu charges officers police intensify night patrols in Anambra

The Commissioner of Police in Anambra State, CP Ikioye Orutugu, has stepped up night patrols in the state

Orutugu in a statement by the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Tochukwu Ikenga, said the measure is geared towards reinforcing the Police's commitment to serving and protecting the community.

CP Orutugu who stated this while addressing the police operatives at the Police Command in Anambra on Tuesday urged the officers to stay alert and proactive in preventing crimes and ensuring public safety.

To the officers, he further added: "Conduct patrols with diligence, respect, courtesy and respect the rights of the citizens.

"This initiative aims to boost security and reassure residents of the Police's commitment to their safety.”
