2027: Tompolo’s door-2-door campaign begins, promises 10 million votes for Tinubu

In a passionate display of support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the PBAT Door-2-Door Movement — founded by Niger Delta leader, Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo — held a special rally in Abuja on Friday to mark the 2025 Democracy Day, signalling the launch of a nationwide grassroots mobilisation drive for Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.

Addressing a packed hall at the NAF Conference Centre, Comrade Sunday Adekanbi, Protem National Coordinator of the movement, declared: “President Tinubu eminently deserves a second term. His leadership has delivered transformational progress in just two years. We are mobilising 10 million votes to return him to Aso Rock.”

The rally, described by observers as a defining moment for the ruling administration’s 2027 campaign narrative, showcased the movement’s commitment to a ward-by-ward, street-by-street voter engagement strategy, championed by its Grand Patron, Tompolo.

Adekanbi outlined sweeping reforms attributed to Tinubu’s presidency, citing successes in education, the economy, energy, infrastructure, healthcare, security, agriculture, and social welfare.

“Over 500,000 students have benefited from interest-free education loans, oil production is up to 1.61 million barrels daily, and foreign reserves have risen from $4 billion in 2023 to over $23 billion in 2024,” he added.

He praised the administration’s bold economic reforms, including the removal of the petrol subsidy and the unification of exchange rates, saying these have restored investor confidence and increased government revenue.

“From the Naira-for-Crude initiative to landmark judicial reforms empowering local governments, President Tinubu is laying the groundwork for a prosperous and united Nigeria,” Adekanbi noted.

Tompolo, revered for his influence in the Niger Delta and beyond, is expected to lead the campaign trail with strategic engagements of political stakeholders, traditional rulers, and citizens at the grassroots.

“Tompolo believes in the Renewed Hope Agenda because Tinubu has proven to be a visionary leader,” Adekanbi stated. “We are taking the message home by home, building a movement for national unity and development.”

The movement pledged to counter misinformation and deepen civic understanding of Tinubu’s policies, ensuring that the president’s second-term ambition enjoys overwhelming popular support.

In closing, Adekanbi made a resounding call to all Nigerians: “Join us to secure the progress already made. Let us deliver a resounding victory for PBAT in 2027.”

The event ended with chants of support for Tinubu, with attendees waving banners bearing images of the President, Tompolo, and the movement’s slogan: “Renewed Hope, Renewed Mandate.” (Nigerian Tribune)
