Ex-Super Falcons defender appointed head coach of Afghanistan side

Former Super Falcons defender, Ayisat Yusuf has been named Head Coach of GirlPower United Afghans for the prestigious United Summer Tournament in Zurich, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Yusuf, who featured for Nasarawa Amazons, Delta Queens, Rivers Angels and NiceFutis in Finland will lead the side to the prestigious tournament.

In a post on her X handle, she expressed excitement saying: "I have been appointed as Head Coach of GirlPower United Afghans competing in the prestigious United Summer Camp Tournament in Zurich."

Girl Power was established to provide mentoring, education, and sporting opportunities to refugee women and girls, aiding their integration into their new homes in the European Union, the United Kingdom, Africa, Australia, and the Middle East. (BSN Sports)
