Family unveils Chris Asoluka's funeral programme

The family of the late Chris Asoluka has released the funeral programme for the policy analyst and dedicated public servant, who passed away on Friday, May 9, 2025. The programme is contained in a statement signed by Jamachi Chris-Asoluka, son of the deceased.

The family revealed in the statement issued on Thursday, that a Service of Songs/Night of Tributes would be held in Lagos on Thursday, 17th July, 2025 in honour of the deceased. This would be followed by a Commendation Service, scheduled for Friday, 18th July, at Our Saviour’s Church, Lagos.

The funeral programme will continue on Wednesday, the 23rd of July, after a four-day break, with a Wake Keep for the deceased. Below are the details of the funeral programme for late Dr. Chris Asoluka.

Obsequies (Ihiagwa, Owerri)

Sunday, 27th July, 2025

Family Thanksgiving Service (Ihiagwa, Owerri)

The family commiserated with Madam Nneka, wife of the late Dr. Asoluka, saying: "As we mourn the loss of Dr. Asoluka, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Madam Nneka and her family during this difficult time. We encourage everyone to reach out and offer support to them as they navigate through their grief."

The family added that Dr. Asoluka "will be remembered for his contributions and the impact he made in the lives of many."
