Nigerian businessman killed in South Africa

Meanwhile, the Nigeria Union in South Africa has confirmed the murder of a Nigerian businessman, Ikejiaku Chinedu, 35, in Limpopo Province of South Africa on Tuesday.

The union’s Secretary, Collins Mgbo, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Polokwane, Limpopo Province, that Chinedu was killed by guards of a private security firm at about 8:00pm.

He said that the deceased was an indigene of Ogwa, Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo and married with three children.

Anyene said that 15 Nigerians had been killed in South Africa since the beginning of the year.

Anyene said the union would send the report to the Nigerian Consulate for necessary action.
