Kwara Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development has announced the commencement of the 2025 online registration exercise for the placement of pupils into Public Junior Secondary Schools across the state.
A statement by ministry Spokesman, Peter Amogbonjaye, on Wednesday said the registration exercise will run until Monday, June 23.
According to t Amogbonjaye, the registration and the placement examination are fully funded by the state government as part of its free and inclusive education policy.
He reiterated that no fees should be demanded from any pupil or parent for participating in the process.
“Parents, guardians, and school heads can access detailed guidelines through the official placement portal: https://placement.kwarastate.gov.ng
“All prospective pupils must be registered by their current primary schools.
“On their part, private primary schools are required to obtain clearance from the Ministry’s Quality Assurance Bureau in order to gain login access to the portal,” Amogbonjaiye said.
He said the date for the placement examination in all Public Junior Secondary Schools would be communicated in due course.
“The ministry also warns head teachers and school administrators against charging pupils or parents for the free placement process.
“Any official found violating this directive will face appropriate disciplinary actions in line with public service regulations,” he said. (NAN)
