It will be a cloudy day spiced with thunderstorms and rains: NiMET

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about Nigerian weather condition for today, Thursday, July 28, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy morning is anticipated over this region in the morning hours with chances of afternoon/evening thunderstorms over Maiduguri, Yobe and Kano. Day time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 32-34oC.

CENTRAL STATES: Thunderstorms/rains are expected to affect Abuja, Makurdi, Lafia, Lokoja, Jos, Minna, Bida and the Mambilla Plateau in the morning hours, while there are prospects of afternoon/evening localised thunderstorms especially over the high ground areas. Day time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 28-32oC.

SOUTHERN STATES: Morning rains are anticipated over Calabar, Eket, Asaba, Calabar, Owerri, Yenagoa and Uyo. Localised thunderstorms/rains are expected over some parts of this region later in the afternoon/evening period. Day time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 28-30oC.
