Eberechi Eze and his heartthrob
Crystal Palace forward Eberechi Eze was the cynosure of eyes, as he tied the knot with his bride in a traditional marriage ceremony in London.
The 26-year-old, who represents England internationally, was spotted wearing the traditional attire, Isiagu, which is synonymous with the South Eastern Nigeria dress culture for elite events in what was an Igbo-themed wedding.
The event marked a celebration of the Igbo culture, with Eze performing the customary rites alongside his longtime partner, Izuthe Mulatto, whom he legally married in the UK on May 27, 2022. The couple has been together since their school days and went public with their relationship in 2019.
Eze had a brilliant 2024/2025 campaign for Premier League outfit Crystal Palace. The former Queens Park Rangers attacking midfielder featured for the Eagles in 34 top-flight matches, scoring eight goals and providing a further eight assists. Across all competitions, he played 43 matches, which include five games in the English FA Cup and four in the League Cup (Carabao Cup), and found the back of the net 14 times whilst recording 11 assists in the process.
Eze?s performances saw Palace lift their first-ever major trophy in their history, when he netted a first-half strike to help Oliver Glasner?s men win the FA Cup by defeating favourites Manchester City 1-0 in the final at Wembley.
Eze is set to be a subject of interest amongst European top clubs, notably reigning Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich and fellow London side Tottenham Hotspur, as they try to prize the skilful ace away from Selhurst Park. (The PUNCH, but headline rejigged)
