The Convener of Ihe Abia, Ichie Dr. Emeka Okpara, has extoled the leadership qualities of Dr. Njideka Frank-Eme, president of the Amuda Town Development Union Women?s Wing, on her birthday.

Ichie Okpara, who is also the Chairman/Managing Director of P.M. Furniture Ltd, described Frank-Eme as an amazon and quintessential leader whose leadership started making impact on the lives and family values of the average Amuda woman few months after assuming the position of President of the women wing of the Union.

His words: "I want to use the opportunity of this celebration to commend the President of Amuda Town Development Union Women Wing, Dr. Frank-Eme, on the excellent leadership she has delivered to the good people of Amuda, Isuochi, in just few months after she assumed office as the President General."

According to him, he is not the only one that has noticed the swift transformation in the attitude and behavioural patterns of the average Amuda woman.

He said that it is not the natural order of things, but a product of well calculated, carefully thought out initiatives, and articulated efforts on the part of the new executive led by Dr. Njideka Frank-Eme."

According to him, women folk ought to be future-oriented and should always strive to be the best in whatever they do, as they are the pillars that hold society together.

"Amuda women are primed and positioned as the leaders of the new era and mothers that would groom the next generation of mothers to preserve the resilient spirit and noble character of Ndi Amuda which is not only extraordinary, but also worthy of emulation."

Okpara called on the good people of Amuda to support the good works of the executive led by Dr. Frank-Eme, especially the women folk who are at the centre of the development.

"I call on all well-meaning people of Amuda, both at home and abroad, especially women to support the lofty dreams, aspirations and good works of the present team of leaders led by Dr. Njideka Frank-Eme. Every society is defined by the family values that govern it, and the women folk are the guardians of those values. The best we can do is to support them to continually renew society by ensuring that cultural impurities which defy society are not allowed to creep into Amuda. I call on the women to give enormous support to one of their own and build an Amuda that would be the envy of other communities.?

He prayed to the Almighty God to preserve the life of Dr. Njideka Frank-Eme, grant her more years in good health so that she can render more invaluable services to Amuda women, the entire Isuochi and humanity in general.
