Life Camp Magistrates Court, Abuja

A 27-year-old printer, Endurance Benjamin, was on Tuesday docked in a Life Camp Chief Magistrates? Court, Abuja for allegedly threatening to kill his parents.
The police charged Benjamin, who lives in Angwan Cement, Life Camp, Abuja, with criminal intimidation.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The prosecutor, Mrs. Charity Nwachukwu, told the court that the complainant, Mr. Benjamin Agida, who is the defendant?s father, reported the matter at the Life Camp police station on April 28.
Nwachukwu said that on April 27 at about 10: p m, the defendant threatened to kill his mother, Mary, after she scolded him for being rude to her.
Nwachukwu said the defendant also pulled out a knife on his father after he tried to talk to him to stop misbehaving.
The prosecutor said that during police investigation, the defendant could not give a satisfactory account of his actions and the offence contravened the provisions Section of 397 of the penal code.
Chief Magistrate Musa Jobbo admitted the defendant to bail in the sum of N 100,000 and two sureties in like sum.
Jobbo ordered that the sureties must produce reliable means of identification and he adjourned the matter until July 16 for hearing. (NAN)
