The Nigerian CHAN Team
Nigeria will compete in Group D of the 8th African Nations Championship (CHAN) scheduled to hold from August 2 to 30, 2025, after the final qualifying slots were secured by Algeria and South Africa.
The Nigerian team, silver-medallists in 2018, will face Senegal, Equatorial Guinea and Sudan in the group stage. The group was reshuffled following the disqualification of Congo Brazzaville after Equatorial Guinea lodged a protest.
