The Lagos State Government on Friday said that traffic diversion for repair of the Ogudu?Oworonshoki Bridge had been rescheduled.
The state Commissioner for Transportation, Mr Oluwaseun Osiyemi, disclosed this in a statement to newsmen in Lagos.
Osiyemi said that a new date for the repair works and traffic diversion would be announced.
?The state government remains committed to ensuring public safety and minimal disruption during infrastructure upgrades.
?We sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding and continued cooperation,? he said.
The News Agency of Nigeria NAN reports that the bridge repair was scheduled to start from May 13 and end on Sept. 23. (NAN)
