Two notorious armed robbers have been arrested by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command following a robbery incident in Wuse 2, Abuja.
Police sources told Zagazola Makama that the incident occurred on April 14, 2025, when Gloria Ashang, a resident of Gwarinpa, reported at the Wuse Division that at about 2040 hours, armed robbers intercepted her Toyota Camry car, a 2008 model. The robbers forcibly took the car and fled to an unknown destination.
Upon receiving the report, police operatives at Wuse Division, with assistance from digital forensic analysis, traced the stolen vehicle to the Kubwa axis. Two suspects, Gabriel Adams (43 years) and Stephen Shadrach (41 years), were arrested.
In addition to the stolen vehicle, the police recovered a locally fabricated Beretta pistol, five live rounds of ammunition, six power banks, five wristwatches, three feature phones, three Android smartphones, one iPhone, five ear pods, and a cash sum of N290,500.
The sources said that the suspects are currently in police custody and undergoing interrogation, while the investigation is ongoing. (Zagazola)
