A statement by the Toronto Police Service on Friday, seen by PUNCH Metro on Monday, urged the public to help locate Omotayo.
The statement read, “Omotayo, 32, was last seen on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, in the Trafalgar Road and Dundas Street East area in Oakville.
“Omotayo is described as 6’0”, 160-170 lbs, with a thin build and short black hair.
“Omotayo was last seen wearing a tan ‘Essentials’ hoodie, black Nike trackpants, tan Yeezy slides, and black-framed glasses. Police are concerned for their safety.”
It urged anyone with useful information to approach TPS through its various channels.
It further advised anyone with information “to contact police at 416-808-4200, Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477), or at www.222tips.com.”
As of the time of filing this report on Monday, the police had yet to locate his whereabouts.
A similar case involved a missing 34-year-old Nigerian man, Oluwaseun Adedeji, who took a tragic turn when his body was recovered from Okanagan Lake in British Columbia, Canada.
Adedeji’s body was reportedly retrieved from the lake by the Underwater Recovery Team. (The PUNCH, excluding headline)
