BREAKING: National Orthopaedic Hospital Igbobi CMD dies 4 months to retirement

The Medical Director of the National Orthopaedic Hospital, Igbobi, Dr. Alimi Mustapha, has passed away.

A report by CKN Nigeria this Saturday morning, March 29, 2025, quoted an unnamed reliable source as confirmed his demise, but details surrounding his death remain undisclosed at the time of this report.

?Dr. Mustapha, who assumed office as Medical Director eight years ago, was due for retirement in July. He was known for his contributions to orthopaedic medicine in Nigeria, leading the hospital in providing specialized care to patients with musculoskeletal disorders,? the report said.

Meanwhile, the hospital management has released an official statement regarding his passing.
