The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigerian weather condition for today, Sunday, July 10, 2016:
NORTHERN STATES: Cloudy condition is anticipated over Sokoto, Gusau and Yelwa in the morning with chances of localised thunderstorms over Katsina, Dutse, Kano, Nguru and Maiduguri in the afternoon/evening hours. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 31- 35oC.
CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy morning is expected. Chances of localised thunderstorms over some parts of the central cities including Abuja, Nasarawa, Kaduna, Lokoja and Bauchi in the afternoon/evening hours. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 28- 32oC.
SOUTHERN STATES: There are slim chances of localised rain showers over the coastal cities such as Delta and Yenagoa in the morning. Possibilities of localised thunderstorms over Calabar, Port- Harcourt and Lagos including Oshogbo, Akure, Ibadan, Enugu and Awka later in the afternoon/evening hours. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 29- 33oC.
