With two days left to the 19th Convocation ceremony of the Nnamdi Azikiwe, University, NAU Awka in Anambra State, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Sen George Akume, is expected to deliver the Convocation lecture at the event.
The Convocation ceremony which will hold from Wednesday, March 26, 2025 to Friday, March 28, 2025 will kick off with the convocation lecture titled, “Unity in Diversity” on Wednesday at the University Auditorium from 11am.
According to a release from the media unit of the university, the first day of the event will also feature a press conference with the Vice-Chancellor at the Council Chamber by 9:00am.
The 19th Convocation Ceremony will mark the first under the leadership of Prof. Joseph Ikechebelu as Acting Vice-Chancellor of UNIZIK.
Meanwhile, the award of 1st Degree will hold at the Convocation arena on Thursday, March 27, 2025 while the Commissioning of completed projects, award of higher degrees, honorary degrees and installation of Emeriti Professors will hold on Friday, March 28, 2025.
