Secretary to the State Government of Nasarawa, Dr Barrister Labaran Shuaibu Magaji has promised to work in collaboration with Practising Journalists through the creation of a conducive working relationship with all members of the pen profession in the state aimed at projecting the activities of governor Abdullahi Sule to the outside World.

Barrister Magaji who stated this on Wednesday, when he hosted members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists( Correspondents Chapel’) NUj in his office along Shedan Road Lafia the state capital; noting that media plays a significant role all over the globe in terms of information dissemination about individual, government and organizations etc.

“Journalists are the greatest partners all over Carriers . As the engine room of the state. I am going to inform all MDAs in the state to frequently engage the press to know and explain to the public the good work of Governor Abdullahi Sule. I also call on you Journalists practising in the state to unite and give the state government the desired publications under the leadership of A A Sule for what he has done from 2019 to date.” Barrister Labaran added.

Magaji said: “ A A Sule deserves Kudos and respect in the areas of Roads construction, Health care, Education, peace, Youth Empowerment and Skills acquisition, water, Agriculture, , prompt payment of salaries to civil servants and others too numerous to mention. If you begin to count the blessings of Governor Sule in Nasarawa state. Infact, he has made the state the most attractive states in Nigeria through the discovering of Lithium where foreign investors are into mining which is a plus to the state and the Nation as a whole.”

The SSG further Implored Journalists to always verify their information before publication, adding that any wrong information thrown to the public domain can cause chaos or disrepute to the media organization, reporter himself or herself.

In his opening remark, the chairman of the correspondent chapel NUJ Nasarawa state chapter, Mr Isaac Ukpoju congratulated Barrister Labaran for his appointment recently as the SSG by Governor Abdullahi Sule, saying that Barrister Magaji deserved such appointment viewed from his tremendous achievements recorded in the state,; promising that the correspondents’ chapel will work assiduously towards the promotion of government activities to the universe for the overall development of all.
