In its ongoing effort to ensure the improvement of security in Anambra State, the state Police Command, in collaboration with other security agencies, has intensified night patrols to improve safety across the state.

A statement issued by the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Tochukwu Ikenga, on Saturday explained that the night patrols are aimed at deterring criminal activities and reassuring public confidence.

The statement added: “This initiative demonstrates the Police Command’s commitment and determination to create a safer environment for Ndi Anambra and residents.

“The Command is fully committed to sustaining safety and security in Anambra.”
