On Saturday, March 1, 2025 (equivalent to Ramadan 1st, 1446 AH), history was made as esteemed dignitaries and well-wishers gathered for the maiden Tafsir and commissioning of the Hajiya Safiya and Abdulkareem Na’Allah Memorial Jumma’at Mosque.

The grand event took place at the mosque’s location along Ashiru Road, in the Ungwan Dosa/Rafin Guza area of Kaduna.

The commissioning of the Hajiya Safiya and Abdulkareem Na’Allah Memorial Jumma’at Mosque is not only a tribute to the late Hajiya Safiya Na’Allah but also a significant contribution to the Muslim community in Kaduna.

It’s heartwarming to see how Sen Bala Ibn Na’Allah honoured his late wife’s vision by ensuring the completion of the mosque. The presence of high-profile dignitaries, including Sen Abubakar Sani Bello, Hon. Yusuf Tanko Sununu, AVM Zanna Abuja (Rtd.), Barr Nasiru Junju former Commissioner of Justice Kebbi State, Dr Ahmed Abubakar Gummi, scholars from KASU, and traditional leaders, highlights the importance of the project.

In this holy month of Ramadan, may this mosque serve as a place of worship, knowledge, and unity for generations to come. May Allah accept the efforts of everyone involved and reward them abundantly.

The Hajiya Safiya and Abdulkareem Na’Allah Memorial Jumma’at Mosque was a project initially conceived and built to a certain level by the late Hajiya Safiya Na’Allah before her passing. Following her demise, her husband, Sen. Bala Ibn Na’Allah, undertook the noble task of completing the construction in her honor.

The entire Na’Allah family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who attended this momentous occasion and prays for Allah’s blessings and rewards upon them, especially in this sacred month of Ramadan.
