The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), llesa Branch, has debunked a misleading information circulating in the media on a court ruling sitting in llesa magisterial district allegedly ordered one Rhoda Adu to pay her boyfriend, Olapitan Sola N150,000 for failing to visit him.

Several news outlets recently published the story.

NBA Ilesa Branch categorically dismissed the story in a statement issued on Thursday by Raymond Oki ESQ and made available to News Express.

The statement reads: ?The Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), Ilesa Branch, a leading voice for the Legal Profession is issuing this statement to correct the false and misleading information circulating in the media about a ruling attributed to a Magistrate sitting in Ilesa magisterial district who allegedly ordered one Rhoda Adu to pay N150, 000 to her boyfriend Olapitan Sola as damages for emotional distress for failing to visit him after collecting N3000 for transport fare.

?There is no Magistrate in Ilesa going by the name Magistrate Akogun Oludare neither has there been any matter of such nature in the Magistrate Court
