Catholic Bishop of Nnewi Diocese, the Most Rev Dr Jonas Benson Okoye

The Governor of Anambra State, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, has extended his congratulations to the Catholic Bishop of Nnewi Diocese, the Most Rev. Dr. Jonas Benson Okoye, on his 62nd birthday.
Soludo lauded Bishop Okoye for his unwavering dedication, spiritual leadership, and immense contributions to the growth and development of the Catholic Church, particularly within the Nnewi Diocese.
The Governor in his birthday message signed by his Press Secretary, Christian Aburime, remarked that the Bishop has demonstrated an outstanding level of devotion to his calling, guiding his flock with wisdom, humility, and compassion.
He added: "The Bishop's contributions to the spiritual and socio-economic development of the society, particularly in Anambra State, have been outstanding.
"I join Bishop Okoye's friends, associates and family in celebrating this special occasion of his birthday and also pray for God's guidance, wisdom, and strength upon him as he continues to lead the Diocese of Nnewi to greater heights."
Bishop Okoye, an indigene of Adazi Nnukwu in Anaocha Loal Government Area of Anambra State was born in Kaduna on January 25, 1963.
