A chieftain of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) in Imo State, Chief Mayor Obinna Nweke, has commended the State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, “for five years resilient and purposeful leadership.”

Nweke, a former Transition Chairman of Ngor Okpala Local Government Area of the state, praised Governor Uzodimma “for his exceptional leadership, as he marks five Impactful years in office as Governor of Imo State.”

The former LG boss, who is currently who is Leader of Voice of Progress and Development for Ngor Okpala Local Government, barred his mind in a statement he issued on Thursday, January 16, 2025 and made available to News Express.

The statement reads: “Your Excellency, these five years have been an evidence to the power of resilience, vision, and a determined commitment to progress.

“You assumed leadership at a challenging time, yet you have turned those challenges into opportunities for growth, leaving a legacy of transformation that speaks volumes across the length and breadth of Imo State.

“In Ngor Okpala, your administration’s projects and policies have not only addressed immediate needs but also laid a solid foundation for sustainable development.

“The historic commissioning of the Airport Road and ground breaking of Africa Quality Assurance Center (AQAC), a vital economic artery to boost export and access to global market are examples of your forward-thinking approach to governance.

“These milestone will open Ngor Okpala to new possibilities, solidifying its place as a strategic hub for commerce and connectivity.

“Your leadership transcends infrastructure; it is evident in the sense of hope you have restored among the people.

“By prioritizing inclusivity, fostering peace, and driving innovation, you have reshaped Imo State into a model of what purposeful governance can achieve.

“As we celebrate this milestone, I urge every Imolite to reflect on the journey so far and recommit to the collective vision of a prosperous Imo State under your stewardship.
