It will be a day of clouds, localised thunderstorms and rains: NiMET

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about Nigerian weather condition for today, Wednesday, June 22, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected in the morning hours, while localised thunderstorms are likely in some parts of the region in the afternoon/evening period. Day time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 30-35oC.

CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy to possibilities of isolated morning rains. Localised thunderstorms are anticipated over Mambilla plateau, Makurdi, Abuja, Jos, Minna and Lafia during the afternoon/evening hours. Day time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 29-33oC.

SOUTHERN STATES: Coastal cities like Lagos, Calabar, Yenegoa, Benin and Eket will likely witness some morning showers. There are prospects of localised thunderstorms over the region during the afternoon/evening hours. Day time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 29-32oC.
